Use your Smoothie Maker to make Green Smoothies

One of the central elements of any healthful diet is eating an acceptable quantity of greens.

Yet 95% of people that follow a healthy diet, don’t consume enough green leafy vegetables.

Green smoothies are great and my favourite way to eat the greens I know I need! When I first heard about green smoothies I used to be a little doubtful about mixing fruit and greens in my smoothie maker and was surprised by the result.

Romaine Smoothie

  • one cup strawberries
  • two entire bananas
  • bunch romaine lettuce
  • half to one cup water

Blend in your smoothie maker and enjoy!

Spinach Smoothie

  • two cups fresh spinach
  • one entire grated cucumber or carrot
  • two whole bananas
  • one entire orange
  • three entire apples,

Use your smoothie maker - and watch those muscles grow!
